TLC Healthcare has contracted Ireland Brown Constructions and principal consultants Baldasso Cortese to build and manage its $24 million Homestead Estate redevelopment in Wallington, near Geelong.
The upgrade of Homestead Estate, which was TLC group’s first residential facility, involves combining the existing homes into one location and adding an additional 125 beds to create a 260-bed facility.
A $24 million Wallington redevelopment to deliver new jobs at Victoria’s largest aged care facility will begin in August, its proponent has announced. The project, at Homestead Estate, was now scheduled for completion in 2018 after TLC Healthcare awarded contracts to builder Ireland Brown Constructions and principal consultant Baldasso Cortese, the operator said.
Construction of the $34m Homestead Estate redevelopment project is scheduled to begin at the Wallington site, east of Geelong, in August 2017. The existing homes at the Homestead Estate site will be combined into one location.
